2. Most fours in T20Is
One of the records that Virat Kohli is still to make his own is the number of fours in T20 internationals. Ireland’s attacking batter Paul Stirling holds the record for most number of fours in the format with 344 to his name.
The second on the list is the prolific boundary hitter Rohit Sharma with 337 fours and the 35-year-old also tops the list for most number of sixes. Rohit is followed by Kohli at the third position with 331 fours and this will be one of the records that Kohli definitely will have an eye on.
The 33-year-old match-winner has always looked to play most of his shots in the ground rather than taking the aerial route and that has been one of the reasons behind his consistent run making. His cover drives have been a treat to watch and is likely to add some more to the list in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
