That rumour though died down fast but many fans forget this aspect of Rohit Sharma’s life as well

4) He is a distant family member of Virat Kohli’s former manager

Ritika Sajdeh is a family member of noted sports and entertainment personality Bunty Sajdeh. It is the same Bunty Sajdeh who happened to be Virat Kohli’s former manager. Ritika Sajdeh is a cousin sister of Bunty Sajdeh and met Rohit Sharma during commercial shoots and the two became friends.

3) Once decided to bunk his school to meet Virender Sehwag

As a youngster, Rohit Sharma idolized former Indian batting great Virender Sehwag. The young Hitman decided to bunk his school to meet his idol. It turned out to be a fruitful encounter as Rohit also got a signature from his favourite star. It is interesting to note that Rohit Sharma later became a teammate of Virender Sehwag and batted alongside him.

2) Rohit Sharma was once a distant relative of Salman Khan –

Bunty Sajdeh is the brother of Seema Sajdeh who is the ex-wife of Sohail Khan. Since Ritika Sajdesh is the cousin of the Sajdeh Siblings, by this extension Rohit Sharma was once a distant relative of the Khan household.

KL Rahul wasn’t in the greatest of forms with the bat in the longest format of the game in 2018 and 2019. One fan posted a meme terming KL Rahul ‘Overrated’ and Rohit Sharma seemingly liked it. Although he unliked it later many fans grabbed the screenshot of the same. Incidentally, it was Rohit Sharma who became the opener in Test cricket by replacing KL Rahul in late 2019.
