1. Sam Curran
Sam Curran has been a proven performer in the shortest format of the game. The 24-year-old has featured in 145 T20 matches and scored 1731 runs at a strike rate of 135.65. Also, he has bagged 149 wickets at an economy of 8.43. In the IPL arena too, the ace all-rounder has hammered 337 runs in 32 matches at a strike rate of 149.78 and taken as many wickets.
Curran came of age at the T20 World Cup 2022 and led England's charge with the ball. He featured in six games at the high-profile competition and took 13 wickets at an exceptional economy of 6.52. The left-arm pacer was at his best in the summit clash against Pakistan and took three wickets while giving away only 12 runs in his full quota of four overs.
With the ball, Curran can deliver the goods at any phase of the game, and with the bat, the southpaw can act as a floater in the middle order. The Northampton-born is an asset for any side and IPL franchises might go into a bidding war to acquire his services for the forthcoming season.
