The 66th game of the Indian Premier League 2024 will see the Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Gujarat Titans at home. Pat Cummins and the team need to win their last two games. Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, are already out of IPL 2024 after their game against Kolkata Knight Riders was washed out.

Pat Cummins and his team are on the cusp of making their first playoffs for quite a while. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have lit up the tournament with their breath-taking batting while the bowlers too have stood up and made themselves count when needed.

Gujarat Titans who had won the title in 2022 had begun the season well before losing their way. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan scored centuries during their massive partnership against Chennai Super Kings which resulted in their 35-run win to give them faint hopes of qualifications. The washout on Monday though ended their journey as the Titans became the third team to exit the tournament after Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians.

Here are the three players to have played for both SRH and GT in the league’s history:

Young right-arm pacer Kartik Tyagi was brought by the Gujarat Titans earlier this season. The 23-year-old can crank up good speeds with the ball and also is a very good death bowler.

Kartik Tyagi before his only appearance for the Titans had played for Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers. His stint with the IPL 2016 winners saw him play five matches and pick just two wickets.
