After Lucknow Super Giants beat Chennai Super Kings twice this season, KL Rahul’s side was touted as one of the favourites to make it to the playoffs. Two losses in the last three games have seen LSG take a huge hit as far as reaching the top four is concerned. KL Rahul’s entire stock a beating when his side lost to KKR by 98 runs after conceding over 200 runs at home for the very first time.

Surprisingly, Sanju Samson and Co. are facing a slump right towards the season's finish line. The last two have seen the men from Jaipur lose after conceding over 200 runs with the ball. Rajasthan Royals lost to Delhi Capitals by 20 runs on Tuesday despite the best efforts with the bat by their skipper who had scored 86 runs.

Sam Curran’s leadership saw the Punjab Kings come in within touching distance of the top four spots in the table. After beating CSK away from home, Punjab Kings were humbled in their return fixture last week in Dharamshala.
