IPL 2024: Rating Teams' performance based on batting in sixth week

At the end of the sixth week, many teams displayed good performance as batting units. Some of the batters have gone bonkers at the top. Even in the middle order, some of the batters have been highly aggressive. In the death overs, the batters have been at their explosive best. IPL 2024 has been the most batting-friendly season and the batters have made the most of it. The run fest has been a norm more often than not. 

However, some of the teams have not been able to make the most of the batting-friendly pitches. While some teams have played mostly in slower home conditions, other teams have players who have been poor with the bat. Some of the batters have struggled to score runs even on the flattest of wickets. Such batters have hurt the side. The results of the teams have aligned with the batting shows. 

Here is the ranking of the teams based on their batting performances in the IPL 2024 at the end of the sixth week:

10. Gujarat Titans (GT) 5/10

Gujarat Titans have the worst batting this season by a margin. Shubman Gill was good in the middle stage of the tournament. Outside him, GT has failed to find inspiration. Wriddhiman Saha, Azmatullah Omarzai and Vijay Shankar have been poor, and David Miller, Sai Sudarshan, and Rashid Khan are good in patches. Rahul Tewatia has been good as a finisher.
