After nearly two months of non-stop high-octane cricket, the league phase matches of the IPL 2024 season has come to an end. Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad had made it to the playoffs earlier. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who were bottom of the table at one stage, made it to the playoffs after beating Chennai Super Kings by 27 runs in their last league match.

This year, the standard of batting has been at an all-time high. Sunrisers Hyderabad recorded the highest team total twice this season and Punjab Kings scored 262 runs in a massive successful chase to set a new record in the history of T20 cricket.

While the teams had been creating new records with their amazing batting skills, batters have given a tremendous show to entertain the fans. IPL 2024 has seen some of the established stars take their legend to new heights while a few batters left the fans dumbfounded with their talents.

Here are the top ten batters from the league stage of IPL 2024:

10. Faf du Plessis – Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 3/10

Veteran South African batter and Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis didn’t have a great start to the IPL 2024 season. However, by the end of the league phase matches, the 39-year-old has scored 421 runs with four half-centuries and a strike rate of 163.81. Faf du Plessis could only score 65 runs from his first four games before his amazing run of form began and eventually led his team to the playoffs.

Delhi Capitals and Indian cricket fans were happy to see Rishabh Pant make his return to the game after missing over a year. Rishabh Pant played 13 matches this year and scored 446 runs with an average of 40.54 and strike rate of 155.40. The best knock from the blade of the Delhi Capitals skipper came against Gujarat Titans where he scored an unbeaten 88 including a brutal assault on Mohit Sharma in the final over of the innings.
