3. Adam Zampa needs to step up and pick wickets
Australia took a huge gamble by not picking another spinner when Ashton Agar got injured. This left Adam Zampa without a partner and Australia without a second proper off-spinner. Additionally, Zampa was not coming off a very good ODI series against both South Africa and India.
He had gone for 113 runs in an ODI against South Africa and had 11 wickets in the last six matches. He must realize that he is the premier spinner for his team and step up on the occasion well, especially on spin-friendly tracks in India.
