2. Bhuvneshwar Kumar 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has produced amazing spells of bowling over the years and he is a treat to watch once he starts swinging the new ball. The right-arm seamer recently picked up a five-wicket haul against Afghanistan and has got excellent skillsets. He has got the variations including knuckle ball and can get the Yorker in as well.

The 32-year-old is currently playing just the T20I format for India and is no longer part of the scheme of things for the longer format. He was rested for the T20I series against South Africa; however, was named in the T20 World Cup squad 2022 in Australia.

Bhuvneshwar in the past has dealt a long rope of injuries and was sidelined in the IPL for a lot of games by his franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the 2019 World Cup, Bhuvneshwar suffered an injury during the halfway of the tournament and those sorts of instances could hamper India’s chances considerably. Right from thigh injury to hamstring problems, Bhuvneshwar has seen it all and it is very important that his workload is managed accordingly.
