Ravi Bishnoi has been named in the standby's for the T20 World Cup 2022 and he had to make way for the inclusion of fast bowlers into the squad. The youngster has had a wonderful start to his international career and has managed to outsmart a lot of batters with his googlies. 

The wrist-spinner, however, had always faced tough competition with Yuzvendra Chahal in the side, and the Australian conditions have been more helpful for the quicks usually. Bishnoi had to be sacrificed for the making of the squad despite his impressive numbers in the format this year. 

The 22-year-old spinner has taken 16 wickets in 10 games and he recently bowled exceedingly well in the Super four stage game against Pakistan when the other bowlers struggled to. He brings in different variety into the bowling attack and deserved a place in the squad.
