New Zealand: Lockie Ferguson

If there is any team in the world that is in dire need of a bowler who can deliver in the super over, it is New Zealand. After repeatedly falling short in the super overs over the three years or so, one of the fastest bowlers in the world, Lockie Ferguson, could be that missing piece in the jigsaw for the Kiwis.

Ferguson has a fast arm action, bowls attacking lines and lengths, and can consistently clock over 90 MPH. He is also capable of hitting the deck hard with an express speed of over 150 KPH, something no batter in the world finds comfortable facing.

Ferguson is not just about speed but also discipline. Since making his T20I debut in 2017, he has played 21 matches and picked up 32 wickets with an economy rate of 6.84 and the best figures of 5 for 21. He has also had an impressive 2022, bagging seven wickets in six T20Is with an economy rate of 6.14.
