South Africa: Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is one of the best and most complete bowlers in the world across formats. He has all the ingredients of an elite fast bowler, from a rhythmic action to fiery pace to carry and bounce to swing and seam. He has been the torchbearer of the Proteas bowling attack since the retirement of the likes of Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander.

Rabada, from his early South Africa days, has been spearheading the bowling attack and is well and truly on course to greatness. He has an array of skills that makes him a reliable and adaptable bowler across various conditions. This also makes him their go-to bowler for any given situation of the match.

Rabada has not been particularly among wickets in T20Is but his USP has been containing the scoring rate. In 2022, he has taken four wickets in seven T20Is with an economy rate of 6.95 and a maiden. He might just get the nod over an in-form Anrich Nortje for the super over due to his ability to choke the batters in crunch situations.
