7. South Africa (Tabraiz Shamsi, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram) - 7.5/10
Tabraiz Shamsi has been a proven performer for South Africa in the shortest format. He has been a strike force for Temba Bavuma & Co. in the middle overs. The 32-year-old has played 57 T20Is and has taken 69 wickets at an economy of 7.15. The Johannesburg cricketer was also quite sensational at the T20 World Cup 2021 which saw him take eight wickets in five games at an economy of 6.36.
Keshav Maharaj has been a great foil to Shamsi. He being a left-arm off-spinner turns the ball in the opposite direction to his compatriot. Maharaj is simply impeccable with his lines and lengths and has proven to be a tricky customer to be taken to the cleaners.
In the recently culminated T20I series against India, he took four wickets in three games at an economy of 7.09 which is amazing as other bowlers leaked runs at an alarming rate. South Africa also has the option of Aiden Markram who has proven to be quite handy with his off-spin. Skipper Bavuma can give him the ball in case of a favourable matchup.
