8. Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka)

Charith Asalanka has been one of the most reliable batters in the middle order for Sri Lanka in recent years. The aggressive striker was expected to play a key role in helping the team qualify for the Super 8s. But Asalanka's form was a reflection of his team's overall performance in the tournament. The right-hander managed just 25 runs from two matches at a disappointing strike rate. His only standout performance was against the Netherlands as he scored a match-winning 46 off just 21 balls to end the campaign on a positive note.

7. Rovman Powell (West Indies)

West Indies have qualified for the Super 8 stage with three straight wins. Rovman Powell has led the team brilliantly so far, but has the Windies skipper been able to lead his side from the front? In three matches, the big-hitter contributed just 39 runs to the batting department. Powell will have to work on his batting before heading into the crucial juncture of the tournament.
