Height is an important factor for a cricketer. Pacers, in particular, have a bit of an advantage if they are tall. Given their height, they can extract a bit of extra bounce which can be a different challenge for the batters. With height, there will always be a problem for the batters, no matter what the pace of the bowlers is. Tall players are some of the most successful ones in the history of the sport.

Some of the greatest bowlers in the sport like Curtly Ambrose, Glenn McGrath, Courtney Walsh, Michael Holding, Wasim Akram, and others were very tall. Even today, some of the best bowlers in the world are tall. Some of them have been able to win a lot of matches and series for their side. Height is definitely a big factor that can be responsible for the future of a cricketer.

Here are some of the tallest cricketers in the world who will be a part of the T20 World Cup 2024.

10. Andre Russell 6'1"

Andre Russell helped KKR to win the IPL 2024 with his All-round performances. The star player was exceptional with the ball as a wicket-taker and struck well as a batter lower down the order. In the entire 2024, he has been in great form and would be hoping to replicate the same in the T20 WC 2024. He is 6'1" tall.

9. Lockie Ferguson 6'1"

Lockie Ferguson is the tallest New Zealand cricketer. At his pace, Lockie troubles many batters in the multi-nation tournament. The star pacer did not have a great IPL with the ball. However, his form for New Zealand in T20Is in 2024 has been great. At a height of 6'1", he delivers an insane pace and has good control over it.

8. Pat Cummins 6'3"

Pat Cummins will not lead Australia in the tournament but will have a big role to play with the ball. Given the nature of the wickets in the USA and the West Indies, his disguised slower ones and change of pace will be handy for Australia. With the old ball, he can make a lot of difference. Pat is 6'3" tall.

7. Mitchell Marsh 6'4"

As Jason Holder got ruled out of the tournament, he might well be a starter. From a height of 6'5", he can extract a lot of bounce and seam movement.
