The Proteas will be led by Aiden Markram and they possess some of the most destructive players especially in the bowling department. It is the batting that will worry the South Africans with their captain not being in form. The experienced pair of Quinton De Kock and Rassie Van Der Dussen are also struggling to put runs on board just days before the campaign can begin.

4. New Zealand, 6/10

The Kiwis have named the squad which majorly consists of players who had been part of the 2022 T20 World Cup. New Zealand came close to winning the title in 2021 but they lost in the final to the Australians. The likes of Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson will play a huge role with the ball while Rachin Ravindra will be one of the players to watch out for.

3. India, 6/10

Rohit Sharma and his Indian side will look to end their wait for an ICC title that has eluded them for over 12 years. The squad is match-ready as they have just come from a huge season of the IPL. India’s biggest threat will be the lack of finisher in the middle order with Rinku Singh not being included in the squad and both Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya struggling for form.

2. Australia, 8/10

Former Champions Australia will have the presence of most of their top stars who will try to make it a 3rd ICC title in the space of a year. Right from the opening batters to the fast bowling arsenal and Adam Zampa as the spinner the Australians are well covered. Glenn Maxwell’s lack of form could be a major headache for Mitchell Marsh.

1. England, 9/10

The defending champions have one of the most well-rounded teams in the tournament. Jos Buttler will be leading the team along with Phil Salt at the top. The return of Jofra Archer will be an added advantage as the pace bowler seems to be bowling at his best. England will head to the Caribbean with an explosive team who bat deep and an assortment of bowlers who can turn the tables on the opposition.
