1. Ellyse Perry’s 66 off 50 against Mumbai Indians (MI)
Ellyse Perry played an instrumental role in Bangalore’s maiden title victory. She made a major contribution with both bat and ball in her team’s extraordinary success. In big games, she utilised her vast experience and delivered impactful numbers to her team.
Against MI in the Eliminator held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, when Challengers lost three wickets under the powerplay overs, Perry displayed nerves of steel and smashed her second fifty of the competition. On the difficult batting turf, her 66-run innings off just 50 balls took Bangalore to a score of 135 at the end of the innings. RCB qualified for the final with a five-run win and Perry also got the Player of the Match award.
