8. Mannat Kashyap
Mannat Kashyap’s job was to strengthen Gujarat’s spin-bowling unit with her left-arm bowling. She got five games from the GG team management but scalped only one wicket at a hefty economy of 8.16. The 20-year-old made her debut against UPW at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
In her team’s six-wicket hammering, she bowled only one over and gave away 14 runs. However, skipper Beth Mooney didn’t lose faith in the youngster and included her in the playing XI in the next four games. Despite getting chances, she couldn’t prove herself with the ball.
