1. Bangladesh vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, 2022

South Africa hosted Bangladesh for a multi-format series comprising three ODIs and two Tests. Riding high on confidence after clean sweeping India 3-0 in ODIs, the Proteas were the favourites to win against the Bangla Tigers. But visitors made their intentions clear by defeating Temba Bavuma & co. by 38 runs in the first game. 

However, the hosts stormed back into the series with an emphatic 220-run victory. In the final match which was the series decider, South Africa opted to bat first. But they were put under the pump by the Bangladesh bowlers led by Taskin Ahmed and the Proteas were bundled out for mere 154 runs.

Bangladesh cruised to the target in the 27th over itself winning the game by nine wickets and thus, sealed the series. Tamim top-scored with 87* runs off 82 deliveries and Taskin was adjudged the Player of the Match for his impeccable figures of 9-0-35-5. The series win against South Africa in South Africa was more of a statement that the Bangla Tigers cannot be taken lightly in any format of the game.
