4. Simarjeet Singh
Simarjeet Singh is a promising right-arm pacer who plays for the Delhi domestic side. The 24-year-old who made his Ranji debut in 2018 is known for clocking 140kph consistently. The right-arm quick has been impressive in the last couple of years and has now become a regular member of the Delhi domestic team.
The Delhi-born in his 11 first-class appearances for Delhi has taken 37 wickets at an average of 29.43. Simarjeet was associated with Delhi Capitals and the Indian National team as the net bowler where he was lauded for his skiddy pace. His major career highlight was when he represented Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 IPL season.
He had an impressive outing in six matches he played for the marquee franchise. In those outings, he picked four wickets at an economy of 7.67. The former Indian captain MS Dhoni hailed the young pacer for his showing and he can be one of the bowlers to make it big in the future.
