Shubman Gill is considered one of the most exciting talents or the next big thing in Indian cricket. He made the opening position his own through his excellent technique and consistency. Now a mainstay in all 3 formats for India, Shubman will be playing his first limited-overs World Event.<o:p></o:p>
Though it is his first <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/cwc-cricket-world-cup/">ODI World Cup</a>,&nbsp; Gill has won the Under-19 World Cup in 2018. He was not just a winning member but the Man of the Series as well. Gill has performed fabulously in ODIs and was successful in displacing Shikhar Dhawan from the spot to partner skipper Rohit Sharma in format. The young sensation Dunith Wellalage will be one of the most exciting players this season. He made an impeccable impact in the Asia Cup 2023 when he ran away with big wickets against World giants India and Pakistan. He is an orthodox left-arm slow bowler who can take advantage of the potential spin-friendly conditions in India.<o:p></o:p>
The 20-year-old made his ODI debut against Australia last year and has not looked back since then. In 19 games that he played, he has taken 19 wickets with an average of 25.37. Apart from his outstanding bowling, he can bat in the lower order as well with a decent technique.<o:p></o:p>

Pakistan’s pace bowling has always been their biggest strength and nothing has changed. Haris Rauf, the fast and furious bowler will be shouldering the mantle of leading Pakistan to their 2nd World Cup with Shaheen Afridi as his partner. It is Rauf’s first World Cup but he is an experienced campaigner now and a designated big overs bowler.<o:p></o:p>
In 28 games he has picked up 53 wickets. His ability to bowl at the death with sheer pace makes him very difficult to play. Rauf, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mitchell Starc are known to be the best death bowlers in the World and it won’t be surprising that in the big games, you see a big face-off between them. The Rawalpindi-born player can bowl at 145 km/h+ regularly and if accurate he is very difficult to put away.<o:p></o:p>
Pakistan will start their campaign against The Netherlands and play Sri Lanka in the next game. As they play at a few venues, Rauf can be very lethal being a rhythm bowler. If he can understand the dimensions snd conditions well Pakistan can hope for a magical performance from their speedster.<o:p></o:p>

Another tall pacer, a little taller than other South African pacers Marco Jansen has made his name on the World stage pretty early. He is a left-arm pacer and that helps him with the angle to trouble the right-handers. He will be playing his first World Cup after making his debut against India in 2022.<o:p></o:p>
Jansen can be effective with bat as well apart from being a wicket-taking bowler. So far in his short career he has picked up 18 wickets in 14 games and has scored 265 runs with an average of 29.44 and SR of 114.72. His performance in both the department provides South Africa with amazing balance.<o:p></o:p>
He would like to continue his amazing form which led to beating Australia 3-2 after being down at 0-2. There have been talks of him being promoted up the order considering his temperament. With Nortje ruled out, he will also handle the new ball with Kagiso Rabada to good effect.<o:p></o:p>

If your team has a hard-hitting all-rounder who can bat at the lower order and can open the innings, that dream is Cameron Green. He can bowl at a decent pace and can be extremely vital with bat. Green has shown his capability in the Test format and now is the time for him to showcase his talent in ODIs<o:p></o:p>
He made his ODI debut against India in 2020 and hasn’t looked back. He had a decent IPL and his ODI performance has also been honourable. He has an average of 34.45 in the 20 games with bat and on the bowling front, he has grabbed 16 scalps but has been a touch on the expensive side.&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>
In his first World Cup, his role will be lower-order power hitting and containing the batters during the middle overs. Australia will be eyeing their 6th World Cup and they heavily rely on their batting depth.
