8. Rachin Ravindra
Rachin Ravindra has been promising and promising for a long. He can bat in the middle order and at the top but his spin bowling can construct big webs for batters in these spin-friendly conditions. Ravindra made his debut this year and will be playing his first World Cup.
So far in 12 games, he has picked up 12 wickets. Also, with bat, he has scored 189 runs with an average above 23. If New Zealand decides to play multiple spinners, Rachin can be their Trump card. It won’t be surprising if Rachin opens the innings in a few games as he did in the Warm-up game.
New Zealand has been a dark horse in the World Cups so far. They won the World Test Championship Final in 2021 and were runner-up for the 2015 and 2019 World Cup. With Kane Williamson back in the squad, the Kiwis have amazing chances of another strong tournament.
