5. David Wiese (South Africa & Namibia)

Currently, David Wiese is a vital cog in Namibia's team due to his all round skills. Last year, with Wiese’s vital contribution of 2/16, Namibia hammered Sri Lanka by 55 runs in the T20 World Cup 2022. However, there was a time when Wiese got a chance to play for his national country South Africa too. Appearing for South Africa between 2013-16, he featured in white-ball cricket only.

In T20Is, he took 24 wickets for the Proteas in 20 contests. As a batter, he scored 92 runs at a strike rate of 122.66. In 2016, he played three T20 World Cup games for South Africa but couldn’t do much for the team scoring only 28 runs and bagging one wicket.

In 2021, he made his international comeback after five years when he joined Namibia for the 2021 Summer T20 Bash. In the same year, he also played in the T20 World Cup 2021 and delivered his all round performance for the team scoring 227 runs and picking up six wickets in eight matches.
