4. Roelof van der Merwe (South Africa & Netherlands)

Roelof van der Merwe is among the few cricketers who have played international cricket for two teams. In 2009, the all-rounder made his international debut for South Africa in a T20I match against Australia at the Centurion. Six days later, he played his first ODI game against the same opponents.

He scored 57 runs for South Africa in 13 T20Is at a strike rate of 114.00. With the ball, he grabbed 14 wickets at an economy of 6.93. The all-rounder got a chance to play 13 ODIs also, in which he claimed 17 wickets at an economy of 4.77.

In 2015, he got his Dutch passport and made his T20I debut for the Netherlands against Nepal on July 3. For the associate team, he has appeared in three editions of the T20 World Cup (2016, 2021, and 2022). So far, he has done well for the Dutch with 408 runs and 42 scalps in 39 matches.
