7. Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey kicked off his IPL career with RCB in 2008. In 2009, he became the first Indian player to notch up a ton in the cash-rich league. He achieved the unique feat in RCB’s jersey. Before the 2011 mega auction, Challengers retained only Virat Kohli, and following this, Pandey went under the hammer and was picked up by Pune Warriors India (PWI).
In the 2014 auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) picked up Pandey for INR 1.70 crore. The right-handed batter played a crucial role in KKR’s title win, scoring a match-winning 94 off 50 against Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab) in the final played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
