10 Players who won IPL after leaving RCB
RCB haven’t won any trophies in their 16-year IPL journey but there have been some former Bangalore stalwarts who have become IPL champions.
2. Jacques Kallis
Former South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis did a fabulous job for KKR from 2011 to 2014. He racked up 409 runs and 15 wickets in 17 matches and helped Kolkata clinch the trophy in 2012. In July 2014, he retired from all forms of cricket but in 2016, he returned to the KKR camp as their head coach.
Before serving Knight Riders in the cash-rich league, Kallis gave service to RCB in the first three IPL instalments. His notable performance for Challengers came in the 2010 IPL when he scored 572 runs and took 13 wickets for the side.
