7. Wriddhiman Saha being threatened by a journalist

Wriddhiman Saha dropped a bombshell earlier this year when he tweeted a screenshot of messages from a journalist who was forcibly trying to have an interview with the cricketer. The 37-year-old also questioned the level of Journalism in the country in his social media post. 

The journalist was revealed to be Boria Majumdar. BCCI's three-member committee started their probe into this matter. Boria accused the Indian player to tamper with the message. On investigation, the journalist was found to be guilty. 

The Indian Cricket Board banned the journalist for two years for “Threatening and intimidating” the Indian wicket-keeper. Boria has been banned from interviewing any registered Indian cricketer for two years. Also, he has been banned from getting any accreditation as a member of the press in any of the cricket matches in India.
