The biggest winning margin in Women's ODI cricket in terms of runs is 408. New Zealand registered this win against Pakistan at Christchurch in 1997. On that note, here is a look at three of the biggest wins in terms of runs for the Indian women's team in ODI cricket.
3. 211 runs vs West Indies in 2024:
India and the West Indies faced each other in the first ODI in a three-match series on December 22, 2024. This was the first international fixture hosted by the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Smriti Mandhana scored a brilliant 91 off 102 deliveries while Pratika Rawal, Harleen Deol, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Jemimah Rodrigues chipped in with useful contributions as the Women in Blue finished on 314/9 in their 50 overs.
In reply, the West Indies were bowled out for just 103 in 26.2 overs as Renuka Singh Thakur picked up five wickets for just 29 runs in her 10 overs while Priya Mishra also bowled well and bagged two wickets. India won by a comprehensive margin of 211 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series before going on to whitewash the Caribbean side.
