  1. England (2022)

The England and Wales Cricket Board was the most recent to join the list, as they reportedly offered to be a neutral venue for India vs Pakistan encounters. According to the UK newspaper Telegraph, Martin Darlow, the deputy chairman of ECB, recommended England's stadiums as arenas for possibly a three-match Test series in the future.

“The matches would attract big crowds in the UK, which has a large ex-pat south Asian population. The matches attract huge sponsorship revenue and television audiences,” the newspaper quoted the reason behind ECB’s generous offerings.

But Telegraph also said that the PCB was not keen on playing India at a neutral venue. It then came to notice, after a senior BCCI source made the revelations on account of anonymity, that even the BCCI was not interested in ECB’s offers and decided to play Pakistan only at multi-team events.
