Lucknow Super Giants have been impressive in the IPL so far. Having made their debut in the league in 2022, LSG have taken part in the league in two seasons. In their first season in 2022, LSG made it to the playoffs and lost in the Eliminator against RCB. In 2023, LSG again entered the playoffs despite the rollercoaster of a journey. In the Eliminator, LSG lost to MI despite the brave effort.

The young franchise would love to go a notch or two higher this time around in the league. While not many teams have had as impressive a start in the league as LSG have, they would love to catch up with other teams as soon as possible. For that to happen, LSG need their batters to fire. Ekana stadium in Lucknow has wickets which are helpful for the bowlers. The batters find it difficult to score runs at the venue.

Hence, the role of batters becomes more important. The impact with the bat can change the complexion of games. LSG have batters who can take the game away from their opponents in a matter of a few overs. This time around, LSG might have a massive change in their lineup. The fans are excited to see the new lineup of LSG where the batters could bat in positions they have not played much recently.

Here are the three batters to watch out for from LSG in the IPL 2024:

KL Rahul has not played a T20I in a long time. The last instance of him playing a T20I match was in the T20 World Cup 2022, where India lost to England in the semifinal at Adelaide Oval. Since then, Rahul has not been in the scheme of things. With the T20 World Cup 2024 taking place just a few weeks after the conclusion of the IPL 2024, players might not have time to relax a bit. India has a stacked lineup at the top.

It seems like Rahul does not stand a chance at the top. Hence, it seems like the star batter would bat in the middle order for LSG, thereby giving a chance for the young batters to bat at the top and express themselves. At the same time, it would allow him to adapt to a new role which could be a new norm to him. It would be interesting to see how Rahul performs as a batter in the new role.
