3. Mustafizur Rahman- First player to take two five-wicket hauls in T20 World Cup history
The left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman tasted instant success in the T20I format while making his debut in 2015. His consistent wicket-taking abilities and variations helped him to feature in the Indian Premier League and the T20 World Cup 2016.
In only three appearances in the World Cup, the cunning pacer returned with nine wickets in three games. His best figures of 5/22 came against New Zealand at Kolkata, wherein he deceived the batters with his back-of-length deliveries and slower balls. This was the seventh five-wicket haul in the T20 World Cup history, with the first taken by Umar Gul in 2009.
A total of nine players have taken a five-for in the history of the showpiece event, but none of them have achieved this feat twice. It is a great chance for Rahman to register another five-wicket haul and rewrite records. With good form leading up to the World Cup, the 27-year-old is expected to be at the forefront of a major milestone in his career.
