1. 101 vs Railways in Ranji Trophy 2025

Kishan smashed a belligerent ton against Railways in Ahmedabad in an Elite Group D clash in the 2024-25 edition of the Ranji Trophy. The 26-year-old hit 13 fours and two sixes during his knock of 101 off 158 deliveries on October 18. Kishan walked out to bat at No. 6 and looked at consummate ease against the Railways bowlers. However, this knock also could not impress the national selectors.

After Pant's return from injury, Sanju Samson's consistent outings, and Dhruv Jurel's emergence, the competition for the wicketkeeping role has become an intriguing affair. KL Rahul has fared commendably in ODI cricket, while Pant is the first choice in Test matches. Samson has done well in T20Is. Kishan will hope for a strong performance in IPL 2025, as it could help him climb up in the pecking order.
