3. Roelof van der Merwe

The 37-year-old Roelof van der Merwe is a renowned name in the Netherlands' cricketing circuit. However, South Africa gave him his first international break in the year 2009, when he made his T20I debut against Australia at the iconic Centurion Park in South Africa

He made his mark in the first match itself as he smashed 48 off 30 deliveries and also picked up the key wicket of David Hussey. However, his association with the team didn’t last long as he played only 13 T20Is for his country of birth. He later moved to the Netherlands, where he made a much bigger name for himself.

In the 33 T20Is that van der Merwe has played for the Netherlands thus far, he has scored 403 runs at a strike rate of 133. With the ball, the veteran has picked up 40 wickets, at an excellent economy rate of just 6.20. He is once again a part of the Netherlands' squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup and given his age, this can very well be his last appearance in T20 World Cup.
