4. Krishnamachari Srikkanth

In the 1980s when the aggressive style of cricket was not quite relevant, India unearthed a gem in Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The veteran cricketer was known for his entertaining and explosive style of play. The flamboyant batter was known to take even the fearsome bowling attack to the cleaners and played a crucial role in India's maiden World Cup triumph in 1983.

After retiring from international cricket in 1993, Srikkanth has donned many hats be it as a coach or a mentor, or a cricket analyst. However, not many would know that the veteran cricketer had also given acting a go. He acted in a Tamil film ‘Ullam Ketkumae’.

The romantic drama film directed by Jeeva was released in 2005. The film tells the reunion of five friends who were together at college. Srikkanth played himself in the movie. The former Indian cricketer has also featured in some reality shows namely 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' and 'Smart Jodi'.
