5 Major records that India hold in ODIs
In India’s glorious cricketing history, several top-drawer players have donned the bleed blue jersey and established their supremacy in the ODI circuit.
1. Scaling 300 or more
India has unearthed many gems who have dismantled bowling attacks for fun and made ODI cricket their happy hunting ground. The likes of Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, and Kohli have been some of the prominent names who have been phenomenal in the 50-over format.
Courtesy of the same, India have been at the top of the charts among the teams with the most number of 300+ scores in One Day Internationals (ODIs), having reached the 300-mark 126 times. Australia occupy the second spot on the ladder, with 114 such scores to their name.
India have been trying to adopt a fearless brand of cricket in the white-ball circuit for some time now. The batters are seen taking the attack to the opposition right from ball one and piling on runs for fun. If the Men in Blue remain committed to the strategy going ahead, fans shall witness many more 300+ scores in ODIs.
