The two sides met once again in the same tournament at the same venue, but this time, Pakistan thumped India in a one-sided win in a chase of over 300 runs.

This time, MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat first. India posted 308/7 with Dhoni himself making 78 and Rohit Sharma scoring 58, while Sehwag made 49 runs.

In reply, it was carnage from Pakistan batters as Nasir Jamshed (53) and Salman Butt (36) added 65 runs in the first 7 overs and then Younis Khan took over and hammered 123* in 117 balls. Misbah Ul Haq gave him good company and made 70* in 62 balls as Pakistan reached the target with 8 wickets in hand and almost 5 overs to spare.
