3. Pakistan vs India, Asia Cup 2018- India win by 8 wickets with 126 balls to spare
The 2018 Asia Cup tournament was hosted by India in UAE and India and Pakistan clashed twice in the series. The first match happened on September 19 in Dubai.
Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and chose to bat first. But Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/15) and Jasprit Bumrah (2/23) proved to be too much for the Pakistan top order as they were bundled out for 162 runs in 43 overs. Babar Azam with 47 and Shoaib Malik with 43 were the top scorers.
However, many expected Pakistan to fight back given their bowling talent, but Indian openers added 86 runs for the first wicket in 13 overs to end the game there itself. Rohit Sharma made 52 and Shikhar Dhawan made 46 runs. Then Ambati Rayudu (31*) and Dinesh Karthik (31*) took India to the win in 29 overs and 8 wickets in hand.
