India took the stage alongside England for the third game of the five-match Test series in August 2021 in Headingly. The hosts had a sensational showing and thrashed the Men in Blue by an innings and 76 runs to level the series 1-1.  Ollie Robinson was the Player of the match for taking seven wickets in the game.

In the post-match press conference, a reporter asked Kohli’s opinion after asking “England bowlers were bowling full and, on the pads, and when there was an opportunity to go on to the backfoot India seems to be missing out on a lot of runs.” 

To the question, the star Indian batter answered “Okay, Thanks”. Kohli’s response to the reporter’s bizarre question went viral on social media and the ace batter was lauded by fans for behaving in a calm manner.
