4. Virat Kohli defending Rohit Sharma after 2021 World Cup match against Pakistan

India locked horns with Pakistan in the 16th match of the T20 World Cup 2021 in October. The Men in Blue batted first and posted 151 runs on the board, with Virat Kohli (57 runs off 49 balls) top-scoring. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam led Pakistan’s charge with the bat and notched up sensational half-centuries.

Eventually, the Men in Green comfortably chased down the total in the 18th over, and that too without losing a wicket. It was Pakistan’s first win over their eternal rivals in the history of World Cups. After India’s embarrassing loss, the then-India skipper  Kohli was asked whether Ishan Kishan should have played the game ahead of Rohit Sharma, who got out on a first-ball duck.
