There are some gun young Indian players who have made splashes in the T20 format and are likely to break into India's T20I squad after the T20 World Cup 2022.
1.Umran Malik
Express pacer Umran Malik will be travelling with the Men in Blue for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 as a net bowler. Hence, the right-arm pacer was not named in the India squad facing South Africa in the three-match ODI series.
Umran had an excellent outing during the IPL 2022, which resulted in his India call-up. To note, Malik has already made his T20I debut and it was against Ireland in June 2022. The Jammu and Kashmir born played his last T20I game against England.
Malik has played only three T20I matches so far and scalped two wickets. Several cricket experts and pundits had called for Umran's inclusion in the World Cup squad, but the speedster needs to wait a little longer to be a permanent figure in the Men in Blue squad.
