4. David Miller
David Miller played a vital role in Gujarat Titans’ title victory in their debut season in 2022. Notching up 481 runs in 16 matches at a remarkable strike rate of 142.73, he emerged as the third-leading run-scorer for his team. The Southpaw’s unbeaten 68-run knock off just 38 deliveries helped Gujarat to get hold over RR in Qualifier 1.
Under Hardik Pandya’s leadership, GT played an aggressive brand of cricket and clinched the trophy comfortably. Banking on Miller’s experience over that of local boy Pandya, the Gujarat-based outlet could have handed the reins of their team to the dashing left-handed finisher.
In the marquee tournament, the South Africa veteran has piled up 2455 runs with a ton and 12 half-centuries in 105 games at a strike rate of 137.69. Before joining Titans, he was associated with Punjab Kings (PBKS) from 2012-19 and RR from 2020- to 2021.
