5 Players you didn't know once played for Mumbai Indians
MI won the IPL titles — 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020, and have been a part of the league since its inception.
2. Axar Patel
Axar Patel was part of the Mumbai Indians squad in 2013 but was never handed an opportunity to make his debut. He was bought for INR 10 lakhs and warmed the bench for the entire season before the all-rounder was released ahead of the 2014 auction when he joined Punjab Kings. He spent five seasons there before joining the Delhi Capitals in 2019.
Overall, he has played 150 games in the cash-rich league and picked up 123 wickets at an average of 30.55. With the bat, he has made 1653 runs at a strike rate of 130.87. As things stand, Delhi Capitals will likely retain him before the mega-auction for the 2025 edition.
