Asia Cup 2022: 3 Changes India should make for the game against Afghanistan
India's hopes to make it to the final are dashed after their loss to Sri Lanka.
3. Deepak Chahar - IN, Ravi Ashwin - OUT
Though it hasn't been officially announced, Avesh Khan has been ruled out of the Asia Cup with reported illness. Deepak Chahar has replaced him in the squad. The man has returned from injury and starred during the ODI series against Zimbabwe.
Not long ago, he was the go-to man for India with the new ball only to be hampered by a lot of injury concerns. Now that he is back, he should definitely play as many matches he can to get into the scheme of World Cup.
Ravi Ashwin performed well against Sri Lanka but clearly, two spinners strategy hasn't worked for India in two matches and having an extra seamer who can bat well at number 8 would be a great option.
