2. Bangladesh - 4/10

After a disappointing series against Zimbabwe, the Bangladesh management made some changes in the team dynamics but nothing came on aid. Shakib Al Hasan was made the captain of the side and new faces were introduced in the management but with two defeats in a row, Bangladesh’s campaign ended before the all important super four of the Asia Cup.

More or less everything went wrong for the Bangla Tigers. Be it their inconsistency in batting, substandard bowling or terrible fielding, Bangladesh cricket team is going through a rough patch. A team that won the U19 World Championship just a couple of years ago, still bank heavily on the senior pros who are beyond their best days.

Batters batting with poor strike-rate is also a matter of concern. Changes are immediately needed. Shakib being in the helm of things is the only positive thing for the team at the moment. He is well aware of how the game needs to be played and that should help Bangladesh cricket.
