In the recently culminated T20 World Cup 2022, the veteran batter could only score 116 runs in six games, and that too at a strike rate of 106.42. The upcoming Bangladesh series is a great opportunity for Rohit to get into the groove and show the world why is so highly rated in the cricketing circles.

The elegant batter was quite mediocre with the bat in the previous Bangladesh tour. In the Test match, Kohli could score only 14 runs and when it came to the 50-overs format, he could manage just 49 runs in three games. The Delhi-born would like to make amends in the forthcoming series and put on an exhibition of his elegant stroke play.
The former Indian skipper has been in a rich vein of form of late. He set the T20 carnival in Australia ablaze with his jaw-dropping performances. Kohli featured in six games at the marquee tournament and scored 296 runs at a strike rate of 136.40. The team management would hope the veteran former carries on the good work in the clash against Bangladesh.
