4. Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj has been a proven performer for India across formats. Test cricket has been his strongest suit in the international circuit where he has bagged 40 scalps in 14 games at an average of 30.77. However, in this calendar year, the 28-year-old has shown his bowling prowess in the white-ball circuit too.
In the T20Is, the ace seamer has picked seven wickets in four games at an outstanding economy of 6.68. When it comes to the 50-overs format, Siraj has picked 18 wickets in just 12 games at an economy of 4.45. The Hyderabad-born has been terrific with the ball, be it at the powerplay, middle-overs, or death.
Courtesy of Siraj’s consistent showings, he has been picked for the ODI series against Bangladesh. The right-arm fast bowler has a golden opportunity to put on yet another show with the ball and became a regular feature in the Indian white-ball setup going forward.
