1. Rohit Sharma
Rohit has been one of the greatest white-ball cricketers India has produced. In ODIs, the veteran batter has amassed 9376 runs in 233 games at a strike rate of 89.18. When it comes to the shortest format, he has accumulated 3853 runs in 148 matches at a strike rate of 139.24.
However, the 35-year-old was far from his vintage self in the T20 World Cup 2022 and could manage mere 116 runs in six games at a strike rate of 106.42. The ace batter would like to vindicate himself when India take the stage alongside Bangladesh and show the cricket fraternity why he is regarded as one of the best in business.
Though Rohit has not played ODI cricket consistently this calendar year, the Indian skipper has done a decent job in the games he has featured in. The elegant batter has played six matches in the 50-over format and scored 171 runs at an average of 34.20 and a strike rate of 107.54. The Nagpur-born has all the experience in the world to thrive in Bangladesh and the team management would hope their star batter finds his mojo back.
