Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals in an exciting final to bring the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL 2023), to a spectacular close. The star-studded MI lineup produced a few pivotal individual performances that helped MI win the inaugural WPL championship. The competition that will alter the course of women's cricket offered everything a fan might have desired.

Facilitating Indian women's performances was one of the main goals in starting the Women's Premier League. Although we did witness some impressive individual performances by Indian ladies, the foreign women's overall performance throughout the event left a lasting impact.
