1. Travis Head
Travis Head has been a standout performer in the ongoing Test series against India. Across three matches, he has scored 409 runs, including two brilliant centuries. His ability to dominate Indian bowlers, especially the pacers, has been key in changing games in Australia's favor. Despite his remarkable form, there have been some fitness concerns.

During the third Test in Brisbane, Head sustained a minor quad strain while batting in the second innings, which visibly affected his running between wickets. This injury sidelined him from fielding later that day. At the MCG, Head was seen participating in a brief net session and performing some running drills, but he avoided Monday’s optional training. Coach Andrew McDonald stated that Head is fit and available for the Boxing Day Test despite the injury. The team’s medical staff, including physio Nick Jones, closely monitored his condition.
