Cricket games involving India and Pakistan are bound to contain moments featuring adrenaline-charged moments, such is the enormity of the occasion. There have been plenty of such occurrences which have gone down in the fixtures of the past - irrespective of the format in consideration.
The ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 game between India and Pakistan being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium saw numerous such moments unfolding across both innings of the game.
3 fiery instances of sledging from today's IND vs PAK game
1. Hardik Pandya's "bye-bye" send-off to Babar Azam

The first delivery of Hardik Pandya's second over was creamed through covers by Babar Azam, who looked all set for a substantial knock from his end. A delivery later and Hardik got the perfect revenge. Dragging his length back ever so slightly, all Babar did was guide it to the wicketkeeper.
KL Rahul completed a simple catch. Hardik, known for his nonchalant yet sharp wit, did not hold back while celebrating the dismissal of the former Pakistani skipper. Hardik humorously signalled Babar to go back to the pavilion with his celebratory gesture.

2. Mohammad Rizwan shoulder-bumps Harshit Rana while taking a single

It did not take long for the next action-packed moment to materialise. The final delivery of the 21st over was when Mohammad Rizwan was involved in a brief but intense few seconds with Harshit Rana, who was done with half his quota of overs by then.
A short delivery outside the line of off stump was swivelled off the back foot by Rizwan to the deep backward square leg region. Rizwan, making his way to the non-striker's end, brushed the pacer's left shoulder while making his way to the crease. This incident did not sit well with Harshit, who clearly looked unimpressed.

3. Abrar Ahmed signals Shubman Gill to head back on dismissing vice-captain

A few hours later, and another significant moment of taunting unfolded. Shubman Gill was looking all set to get to his half-century. Abrar Ahmed was into his fourth over on the trot. A classical carrom ball released from the front of the hand left Gill all ends beaten.

This was a big wicket for Pakistan and Abrar, in particular. Perhaps channelling his inner frustration of his lukewarm ODI outings in the recent past, he strolled through after the ball crashed into the stumps, eyes on the batter, and subtly tilted his head towards the Indian dugout; all while keeping a stoic demeanour.
